JOB TITLE: Research Specialist

The Research Specialist will work closely with Strategists and Analysts to educate and motivate advisors on LPL’s Research capabilities & services, as well as the firm’s Advisory products & services. This includes participation in workshops, continuing education/training, one-on-one or group office meetings. Will also advise on use of Research software tools; help with client proposals and meetings. Requires national travel to branch offices (50% travel). Must have strong analytical skills; ability to understand, interpret, and communicate asset allocation and investment decisions; familiarity with investment-oriented database/software (Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar, Excel, etc). Must have strong understating of investment industry and more detailed knowledge of fee-based/advisory side & investment product research. Must have excellent communication skills and ability to deliver polished presentations. Previous experience as a financial advisor, preferred. CFA, strongly preferred.
